Nov 2, 2019 · Since hearing about the Uncle Ben Tek / Ready to Serve Rice Tek I've always been curious about it. It doesn't fit my needs, but I'm fascinated with any possibility of simplifying the process for curious first timers. I've had some liquid culture sitting on my desk for about a month when I recently walked past the rice aisle. I was told numerous times that the Uncle Ben tek is "outdated" or "garbage" - but I don't see how the passage of time could somehow make a shroom cultivation technique stop working. You can definitely achieve success but there's too much water in many of the bags and I got a lot of sour rot.
