I took the dueling class passive at level 2 so want to fight one handed. (D8+2 > D10). The feat just lets you dual-wield weapons that aren't light (two rapiers, two longswords, etc). And gives you +1 AC if you are dual-wielding. You still can't dual-wield items classed as "Heavy" with the feat. It's not a bad pick for Astarion, as it'd let him dual wield 1d8 rapiers and get +1 AC out of it, which is better than a single rapier ... 21 damage times 3 attacks is 63 damage or 84 if GWF triggers for an additional attack.
