The history is that it was purchased new in late summer a couple years ago. It ran strong and normal.The carb just can't supply enough fuel at full throttle. If its a few years old, it wouldn't be a bad time to do a tune up. New fuel lines, filter, carb kit, clean the exhaust port (throw away arrestor screen). If that doesn't do it, you probably need a carburetor.
