I run Amsoil syn in my rancher 420 with honda filter. in my 2004 rancher 350 I have been running royal purple and honda filters. the Amsoil is a little cheaper than the royal purple. I'll probably switch the older rancher to Amsoil at the next oil change.Try boosting it. If it works with a boost, go buy a battery. If you cant boost it test the battery when you hit the start button, if it drops to close to 0 you need a battery. Weak or dead batteries will run lights but not the starter.
